A few key questions on the history reveal that Glen very likely does not have a serious underlying condition such as cauda equina, cancer, or spinal infection. However, his history suggests he has sciatica with pain felt predominantly in his right leg, radiating below the knee. This is more likely to indicate a true radiculopathy than pain radiating only to the posterior thigh.
Glen has missed work because of his LBP and his work involves some heavy lifting. These are both "Pink Flags" for prognosis.
