Case Review: A typical case of idiopathic LBP

Eva May presented with only age >50 as a Red Flag. This suggests that there is no serious underlying disease causing her LBP.

The vast majority of patients in this category recover and do not require special studies and treatment or referral to a specialist.

In some cases, however, response to treatment may be prolonged because of a number of prognostic factors.
