Case: Eva-May
Patient Education: Reassurance. Discuss psychosocial factors. Encourage return to work, instruct that she does not have to be totally pain-free to return to work.
Activity Modification: Review details of exercise to determine if quotas are realistic, check upon the adequacy of physiotherapy (if ordered). Review work modification.
Medication: Acetaminophen (check adherence).
Return visit: Approximately three weeks.
