May be appropriate for Eva-May as it is an important component in the care of patients with acute LBP. Assure the patient that there is no indication of serious or dangerous problems & that rapid recovery is expected. Focus on helping the patient to regain a comfort level that will permit as much activity as possible to avoid debilitation. Encourage adherence to medication schedule(s), if appropriate.
