May be an option for Eva-May if she needs additional assistance in developing an active exercise program and help in establishing quotas appropriate to the circumstances.

In the first month of symptoms these should include aerobic exercises (e.g., walking, biking or swimming) which minimally stress the back.

No evidence supports the use of stretching as an effective treatment of acute LBP.
