First Visit - Physical Examination

Height: 165 cm.

Weight: 59 kg.

Temperature: normal

Standing:
Eva-May has no problem walking on her heels or toes. She does a squat rise without difficulties. There is a slight limitation of lumbar motion in all directions. Ankle and toe strengths are normal.

Supine:
Straight leg raising elicits pain in hamstrings when her left leg is raised above 80 degrees.

Sitting:
Sensation is normal, Knee and ankle reflexes are present on both sides. Some point tenderness over the L4, L5 region.

Optional Examinations:
In certain situations, with appropriate history, signs and symptoms, other maneuvers may be an appropriate part of the physical examination, e.g., abdominal exam, Babinski reflex, rectal and pelvic exam.
